For more than 25 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County has provided children and teens with a safe place to learn, grow, build relationships and discover their potential. Through academic support, mentoring, STREAM activities, social-emotional learning, healthy lifestyles, athletics, arts, esports and summer programming, we help young people build the skills and confidence they need for a brighter future.
What is planned giving?
Planned giving allows you to make a meaningful gift to BGCCC as part of your overall financial and estate planning.
A planned gift can often be made without affecting your current income or lifestyle.
You don’t have to be wealthy to leave a legacy.
SIMPLE WAYS TO LEAVE A LEGACY 
WILL OR TRUST
Include the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County in your will or living trust.
RETIREMENT ACCOUNT
Name BGCCC as a beneficiary of all or a percentage of an IRA, 401(k), 403(b) or other retirement account.
LIFE INSURANCE
Name BGCCC as a beneficiary of an existing policy or make BGCCC the owner/beneficiary of a policy when appropriate.
BANK OR INVESTMENT ACCOUNT
A beneficiary designation may allow certain assets to pass directly to BGCCC.

Planned Giving Options
Bequests and planned gifts are a wonderful way to leave a lasting legacy and make a difference in the lives of young people for generations to come. You don’t need to be wealthy to make a planned gift to BGCCC. Gifts come in all sizes and whether the gift is $100 or $1,000,000 it provides critical support for the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County and enables us to provide programs and services to those who need us most.
Because these gifts are generally larger than outright gifts, they could provide several benefits to you. When properly planned, they may reduce estate taxes, reduce capital gains tax or provide you with a current income tax deduction. We encourage you to consult your professional advisors as you consider your estate and gift planning options.
Bequests Through Wills
Regardless of your age and financial situation, a will can provide protection for your family’s future and allow you to designate gifts to specific charities that are closest to your heart. Naming BGCCC in your will is one of the easiest ways to make a lasting contribution to impact young people in our community. Bequests may be in the form of a stated dollar amount, property, a percentage or the residuary of an estate.

Life Insurance & Retirement Plans
Name the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County as the beneficiary for all or a portion of the policy or plan.
Charitable Remainder Trusts
Place the assets in a trust and pay earnings as income to you and your beneficiaries. Upon death of last beneficiary, the principal goes to Boys & Girls Club of Camden County.
Charitable Lead Trusts
Place assets in a trust for a specified time. Earnings go to BGCCC during the life of the trust and principal goes to the beneficiaries when the trust terminates.
